Born in 1993, Tatiana Becue studied Literature and Linguistics (Latin - Italian) at Ghent University, Belgium. Master of Arts in 2015. From 2015 until 2017, she studied Art History, Musicology and Theatre Studies (specialisation in Visual Arts and Architecture) at the Universities of Ghent and ‘La Sapienza’ in Rome. Bachelor of Arts in 2017. In the summer semester of 2017, she completed an internship at the Directorate Monuments and Sites (now: Directorate for Cultural Heritage) of Brussels Capital Region.

After completing her studies, she worked as a multilingual museum tour guide (Dutch, English, French, German and Italian) in Rüdesheim am Rhein, and then from 2019 until 2020 she completed a scientific traineeship at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Lorsch Abbey. Since 2021, she has been working at the Institut für Personengeschichte in Bensheim.

Her scientific focus lies on classical reception, Italian art history of the early modern times and Flemish art history.
